About Me

Thank you for visiting my site, I want to introduce myself. I'm Barbara Jean and I am the photographer behind Capturing Wonder. At the time I was considering photography, as more than just a hobby, I took at photo of a baby reaching out his hand to touch a Christmas Tree twinkle bulb. At this time I was also looking for a name that I felt would encompass my love of photography and the desire I had to put beautiful images into the hands and homes of friends & family. When showing this image to a colleague at work she said, "Barbara, you have a way of capturing wonder," and so, Capturing Wonder Photography began. That was 2013. Today, it is still my desire to capture beautiful images based on the needs of my clients. I am a mother to two grown children and the most fun of all to Emma Grace, Easton, Everly B and Eloise Anne, I am their Ziggy! When you ask me what is most important to me it would be my family, friends and travel. I'm am an active runner, cyclist and swimmer. I love photography.
